Graduation is an extremely exciting time for your high school or college graduate. Big transitions are coming, and it’s a chance to celebrate with all of your favorite people! Planning a graduation party can be done months in advance. Once you have the Graduation date and a general idea in mind, you can start thinking about themes, guest list, and possible dates for the event. It’s no secret that graduation season is a super busy time. With finals, graduation trips, other parties, future plans, and graduation itself—it’s best to get a jump on your graduation party to-do list!

Let the Planning Begin!

We’ve put together a few basics to remember when planning a grad party. While it seems pretty straight forward, it’s still important to nail down all your details ahead of time to better be able to enjoy the festivities with your grad!

1. Venue! Stokely Event Center is the ideal location for your party. With fun lights, nostalgic signage, ping pong, corn hole, and other games, our space is turn-key and ready for you to fill it with your guests and host your celebration!

2. Guests! It is a good idea to go ahead and start your guest list. You don’t want to forget anyone! After you have finalized your list, run it by your graduate to make sure you haven’t left off anyone specific that he or she may have wanted to invite!

3. Food! We all know that the menu is one of the most important parts. Discuss options with your graduate and make decisions together!

4. Decorations! A graduation party is just like any other. This means that decorations, even subtle with attention to the graduation theme, are a key component in making your grad feel celebrated.
